OrderMyWebsite — fixed-price websites for small businesses, built in the UK.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

These terms set out the agreement between you and TownRankDigital Ltd (trading as OrderMyWebsite) when you order a website from us. We've tried to write them in plain English.

1. Who we are

OrderMyWebsite is a trading name of TownRankDigital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

When we say 'we', 'us', or 'our' in these terms, we mean TownRankDigital Ltd trading as OrderMyWebsite. When we say 'you' or 'your', we mean the person or business purchasing our services.

2. What these terms cover

These terms and conditions govern the purchase of our website build service through ordermywebsite.co.uk. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to enter into this agreement on that business's behalf.

3. The service

3.1 What is included

The OrderMyWebsite package is a fixed-scope website build service. One payment of £498 includes everything listed below — there are no hidden fees, monthly charges, or add-on costs for the items on this list.

3.2 What is not included

To keep the price fixed and transparent, the following are outside the scope of this package. If you need any of these, please contact us before ordering to discuss options.

If you are unsure whether your requirements fall within scope before ordering, email hello@ordermywebsite.co.uk. We would rather answer your question upfront than have a misunderstanding after payment.

4. Ordering and payment

4.1 Placing an order

Orders are placed through ordermywebsite.co.uk. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you have received a confirmation email.

4.2 Price

The total price for the package is £498 (four hundred and ninety-eight pounds). This is a one-off payment. There are no subscription fees, monthly charges, or additional costs for the items listed in Section 3.1.

4.3 VAT

TownRankDigital Ltd is not currently VAT registered. The price you pay is the full price — no VAT is added at checkout.

4.4 Cancellation rights and pre-launch satisfaction

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period when purchasing services online.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that work on your website may begin before the end of this cancellation period once you have submitted your onboarding form.

However, if you are not satisfied with your website before it goes live, you may request changes or a full refund.

Once your website has been approved and launched, the service is considered complete and the right to cancel no longer applies.

Your statutory rights in relation to the quality of the service are not affected.

5. How it works — from order to launch

5.1 After payment

Once your payment is confirmed you will receive two things immediately: a payment receipt from Stripe, and an onboarding form. This form asks for the information we need to build your website — your business details, services, preferred style, any examples you like, and any content you want included.

5.2 When work begins

Work on your website begins when we receive your completed onboarding form. The 7 working day delivery window starts from the date we receive your completed form — not from the date of payment.

If we do not receive your onboarding form within 14 days of payment, your project will be placed in our queue and the 7-day window will begin when the form is received.

5.3 Content you need to provide

To deliver your website, we need you to provide as a minimum:

We will build around whatever you provide. The more detail you give us, the more accurately the site will reflect your business.

5.4 Your first draft

We will deliver your first draft website within 7 working days of receiving your completed onboarding form. You will receive a link to review the site before it goes live.

5.5 Review and go live

Once you have reviewed your draft, you have 2 rounds of revisions (see Section 6). After revisions are complete and you have approved the site, we will make it live on your domain.

6. Revisions

6.1 What is included

We work with you to refine your website until it is ready to launch and reflects the requirements set out in your onboarding form.

Rather than fixed revision rounds, we provide structured feedback cycles to ensure the final website meets your expectations before going live.

6.2 How revisions work

6.3 What counts as a revision

Revisions include reasonable changes to the content and presentation of the website, such as:

6.4 What is outside scope

The following are not included within standard revisions and may require a separate arrangement:

6.5 Fair use

Revisions are intended to refine the agreed website — not to repeatedly explore entirely different concepts or directions.

If revision requests become excessive, contradictory, or move beyond the original brief, we reserve the right to:

6.6 Response time

We aim to respond to revision requests within 3 working days of receiving your feedback.

6.7 After launch

Once your website is approved and live, the build is complete and the revision process ends. Changes after that point are not included in the package price.

They are, however, available. What suits you depends on what you need:

We will tell you honestly which makes more sense for you rather than push you toward the more expensive one. If you only need a phone number changed twice a year, a monthly arrangement would be a waste of your money and we will say so.

Correcting a genuine error in what we built is not a chargeable change and never will be.

7. Refund policy

7.1 Before work begins — full refund

If you wish to cancel your order before submitting your onboarding form, you are entitled to a full refund. No questions asked.

To request a refund at this stage, email hello@ordermywebsite.co.uk from the email address used to place your order.

Refunds are processed within 5 working days via the original payment method.

7.2 Before launch — satisfaction guarantee

Before your website is approved and launched, if you are not satisfied with the direction of the build, you may request:

This applies up until the point you confirm that the website is ready to go live.

7.3 After launch — no cash refund

Once your website has been approved and launched, no cash refund is available.

Your statutory rights in relation to the quality of the service provided are not affected.

7.4 If we fail to deliver

In the unlikely event that the website materially fails to reflect the requirements set out in your completed onboarding form, you may request a refund prior to launch.

Assessment is based on your onboarding submission — not on subjective preferences or requirements that were not communicated during the briefing process.

7.5 What is not a refund trigger

The following are not grounds for a refund once work has begun:

8. Hosting

8.1 12 months included

Your package includes 12 months of website hosting from the date your site goes live. Your site will remain online and accessible throughout this period at no additional cost.

8.2 At the end of 12 months

Approximately 30 days before your hosting period ends, we will contact you to discuss your options. You have two choices:

If we are unable to reach you and no arrangement is made, we will make reasonable efforts to keep your site live for a further 30 days before it is taken offline. We are not liable for any loss of business or data resulting from a site being taken offline due to non-renewal.

8.3 Uptime

We aim to maintain your site with high availability. However, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control may occasionally result in brief periods of downtime. We will always work to resolve any outages as quickly as possible.

9. Ownership

9.1 Your content

Any content you provide to us — text, images, logos, and other materials — remains your property at all times. By providing it to us, you confirm that you have the right to use it and grant us a licence to use it solely for the purpose of building your website.

9.2 Your website

Once your website is paid for in full and delivered, you own the website and its files. We will provide you with an export of your files on request at any point. Ownership of the design and code passes to you upon final delivery.

9.3 Our rights

We reserve the right to display your completed website in our portfolio and to reference it as an example of our work, unless you specifically ask us not to. We will never share your onboarding information or business details with third parties for any other purpose.

10. Your responsibilities

To allow us to deliver your website properly and on time, you agree to:

If delays in your project are caused by slow or incomplete responses from you, we cannot guarantee the 7-day delivery window will be met. Delivery timelines reset once outstanding information is received.

11. Acceptable use

We reserve the right to refuse to build, or to take offline, any website that:

In the event we decline to complete an order on these grounds, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

12. Limitation of liability

We will deliver your website with reasonable care and skill. However, we cannot be held responsible for:

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from your use of our service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service — £498.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter where liability cannot be limited by law.

13. Third-party content and services

Your website may include or connect to third-party services — such as Google Analytics, booking tools, or social media platforms. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we have no control over and are not responsible for.

Any stock photography used in your website is sourced from reputable royalty-free libraries. If you provide images, you confirm that you have the right to use them commercially.

14. Privacy

How we collect, use, and store your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in place on the date your payment is confirmed. We will always publish the current version at ordermywebsite.co.uk/terms.

If we make significant changes, we will notify active customers by email.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If a dispute arises, we would always rather resolve it directly and informally first. Please contact us at hello@ordermywebsite.co.uk before taking any formal action.
